At Skile SA, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile note-taking app, Popt.
1. Information We Collect
We strive to collect only the minimal amount of data necessary to provide you with the best possible experience. The only data we collect are:
- Developer analytics (opt-in): If you explicitly give your consent, Popt will send anonymized performance data to Sentry. This includes information about your device (model, iOS version), and technical details which help us monitor issues with Popt. Actual contents (notes, contacts, tagged dates and places) remain strictly private, stored locally on your device.
- Error reports: When an error occurs, Popt prompts the user to send a report. The user may provide a name, an email address and a message. Error reports and their associated data are uploaded to and stored by Sentry, for the purpose of correcting errors and following up with users who do provide an email.

2. Data Storage
- Local Storage: All user contents, such as notes, are stored locally on your device. This data is encrypted by the device’s OS-level encryption, ensuring your content is protected.
3. Data Sharing
- No Selling or Renting of Data: We do not sell, rent, or otherwise distribute your data to third parties.
4. Rights
We grant GDPR-equivalent rights to all our users.
- Right to be Forgotten: You can request that all your data be deleted.
- Right to Access: You can request access to any data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: You can request that any inaccuracies in your data be corrected.
Currently, this concerns the following data points
- Email interactions you may have with our team
- Error reports containing your email which you may have sent from Popt
